About ABV-2002
Product Overview
ABV-2002 is a corneal storage media comprised of a specific polymer (amino acid) formulated to protect ocular tissues from osmolarity. Osmolarity is adjustable from 330 to 390 mOsM, maintaining hydration within the corneal stroma during storage, thereby avoiding tissue edema. Corneal transparency is maintained via stromal hydration.
The global corneal transplant market was $386m in 2019.
